CSS Blue Nitrile Disposable Gloves are ambidextrous, and have a 9" rolled cuff. The gloves have a micro-textured surface for extra grip. The 4 and 6 mil gloves are packaged 100 gloves per box and are available in both a low-powder form and powder-free style. The 8 mil gloves are packaged 50 gloves per box and are only available in powder-free style. The low-powder (L/P) form has a light dusting of surgical-grade USP cornstarch applied to the inside for easier donning and comfort. The powder-free (P/F) style gloves interior is chlorine-washed to give you greater comfort without the use of powder. Be aware that some of the powder from the low-powder gloves can transfer onto items you are working on harming newly applied finishes. We offer three different glove thicknesses to suit all of your conservation needs.
4 Mil CSS Blue Nitrile Disposable Gloves provide somewhat lower protection from solvents, but offer greater feel and dexterity. These gloves are a good choice for inpainting and general cleaning.
6 Mil CSS Blue Nitrile Disposable Gloves offer greater solvent protection than the 4 mil gloves with some loss in dexterity. These gloves are still quite comfortable for long term use and provide the best overall protection to comfort value. Our best seller!
8 Mil CSS Blue Nitrile Disposable Gloves are extra thick gloves that are ambidextrous and have an 11" rolled cuff with an overall thickness of 8 mil with a fingertip thickness of a full 10 mils. The added thickness of these gloves offers extra protection from abrasion and a much greater resistance to cleaning chemicals and solvents for a longer period of time. The extra thickness also makes them well suited for reusability. Some dexterity is lost but they still provide far better dexterity than the heavy-duty green nitrile gloves.
