CSS PVA Varnish/Medium is based on Mowilith 20 and sold in concentrate form containing 50% solids. This solution is water-clear. For inpainting it should be diluted in ethanol (1:4), to make a 7% solution of PVA. This formula stays permanently reversible in aromatic petroleum solvents and/or water of low alkalinity.
